ACP-105 is a compound with a molecular structure similar to Andarine in its effects, but without any side effects reported throughout preliminary studies.

ACP-105 is a partial agonist of the androgen receptor and a selective androgen receptor modulator; that showed promise in current research on castrated rats. These preliminary studies have determined that ACP-105 possess potent anabolic activity in building muscle and bone tissue, while having minimal impact on prostate size.

ACP-105

CAS Number 899821-23-9

Molar Mass 290.79g.mol-1

Chemical Formula C16H19ClN2O

IUPAC Name 2-Chloro-4-[(1R,5R)-3-hydroxy-3-methyl-8-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-8-yl]-3-methylbenzonitrile

How Does ACP 105 Work?

Research has shown that ACP 105 crosses the blood-brain barrier and functions as a selective androgen receptor (AR) agonist. This potent non-steroidal SARM has demonstrated partial agonist activity relative to the natural androgen testosterone. [R][R]

ACP 105 Research

Multiple animal research studies have been conducted on ACP-105. They have shown that ACP-105 selectively targets androgen receptors while having minimal effect on other hormone receptors. This SARM has also shown various health benefits in male and female castrated mice.

However, in the absence of any clinical trials, this SARM cannot be declared safe for human consumption or household uses. Long-term, randomized trials are needed to verify its safety in select populations. HONS sells ACP-105 for laboratory research use only.

ACP 105 and Muscle Growth

A recent study set out to investigate the effects of ACP-105 on castrated male rats. In vivo experiments showed that this compound significantly improved anabolic parameters in these animals. That too while having minimal effects on the androgenic tissues. [R]

The principal finding from this study was that ACP-105 produced a robust anabolic effect on the levator ani muscle while having lesser effects on the prostate. In conclusion, ACP-105 showed promising properties, making it suitable for further clinical development.

ACP 105 and Dementia

ACP-105 has been found to be beneficial in animal models of dementia, in both males and females. For example, this SARM up-regulates androgen receptor levels and improves cognitive performance in castrated female rice. [R][R]

A study using a model of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) has found that ACP-105 improves memory in female mice with the most prevalent genetic risk factor of AD. Additionally, in a mouse model of AD, ACP-105 alone decreased anxiety-like behavior. [R] [R]

What is the Half-Life of ACP 105?

ACP-105 has a half-life of approximately 4-6 hours.

What is the Molecular Formula of ACP 105?

ACP-105 has a molecular formula of C16H19ClN2O.
